Mission
The primary goal of the Nomad Lacrosse Program is to develop the lacrosse skills of children ranging in age from 7 to 14 years of age. Nomad Lacrosse program has been established to help build character, sportsmanship and integrity and in turn we hope that Nomad children will serve as positive members of the community and the greater society. We believe that the following goals will best serve the team's mission.
We will promote unity and confidence within our community and the Nomad Family.
We will place primacy on our academic achievements, endeavors and recognize the importance of academic growth throughout our school careers
We will practice positive leadership and display the courage necessary to advocate just causes in the face of public or social pressures.
We will hold ourselves responsible and accountable for our thoughts, feelings, and actions both on and off the field. We recognize that as student-athletes we represent our families, our community and Nomad Lacrosse. We will demonstrate the virtues of compassion, sportsmanship, sensitivity and respect for our parents, coaches and our fellow players/colleagues. One way this can be achieved by the more skillful and more athletic players acknowledging the weaker, new players and mentoring those players.
